Is your representative an environmental champ?

Looking to see if your representatives voted for the environment this session? Environment Oregon has got you covered.

On July 17, Environment Oregon released our first Oregon Legislative Scorecard, tracking how state legislators voted on key environmental bills in the 2019 session. The scorecard tracks nine bills supported by Environment Oregon on climate change, plastic pollution, clean energy and more. On each bill, the scorecard shows whether your representative voted for the environment, voted against the environment, was excused from the vote, or was absent. Of the nine bills we scored, the Legislative Assembly passed seven.

“Of the hundreds of bills voted on by the 80th Legislative Assembly, we identified a few key votes that will have the greatest impact on Oregon’s environment and public health,” said Environment Oregon State Director Celeste Meiffren-Swango.
