Jobs with Environment Oregon

Development Associate

We are hiring for a Development Associate to help build the resources to advance our environmental protections across the state of Oregon. Every day, Americans throw away tons of foam cups, containers, and other single-use plastics that ultimately end up in our rivers and oceans. Marine life, like sea turtles, are the ones who suffer, ingesting the plastic and ultimately starving to death. We need to stop the use of single-use plastics for the sake of our wildlife. Nothing we use for a few minutes should be allowed to pollute our lakes and rivers, and threaten wildlife for centuries.
Thousands of Environment Oregon members feel passionately about saving our wildlife from plastic pollution and other environmental issues, and Environment Oregon’s team of organizers, advocates and researchers is ready to make their voices heard. To win this and other campaigns, we need to add a great storyteller to our development staff to give our work an even greater impact. MORE | APPLY

Environmental Campaign Staff

Across the country, our environment faces some tough challenges. But we know what we need to win--citizen support and grassroots action. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Fund for the Public Interest to hire college students, graduates, and activists across the state to go out into communities to talk with citizens about the issues, raise money, and build membership for Environment Oregon. Staff also have the opportunity to work with the media, build coalitions and mobilize activists. Similar positions are available in more than 50 offices across the country.
